Our Fortune 500 client, a Global Manufacturer of locomotives and OHVs, located inErie,PAhas an immediate, long term contract opportunity for an experiencedLocomotive Cab Design Engineer ? 3 Openings. Job Description: Candidate will be part of a cross-functional team to identify, design, validate, and implement productivity and requisition projects impacting the Locomotive Cab Structures Team. Cab structures include the areas of Operator Cab, Air Rack, Consoles, Blower Cab, Engine Cab, Radiator Cab, and Mechanical Integration. The candidate must be able to work through the entire design and manufacture phases of the project such as identifying requirements, engineering design, working with drafting to procure drawings, and following the design through the manufacturing process. This position requires working closely with systems engineering and various subsystem level engineering to define and develop design and packaging requirements. The candidate must be able to work in both individual and team environment settings. This position requires strong leadership and project management skills with excellent communication ability in order to work across all levels of the design and manufacturing process. Candidate Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering - At least 3 additional years of experience in an engineering position Desired Qualifications: -Masters degree in Engineer a plus - Experience in structural, mechanical, or packaging a plus - Sound analytical and problem solving skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - PC proficiency Client has implemented the following guidelines: 1.
