Description: Requisition 3190BR Job Title Digital Design Engineer (3190) Classification Exempt Location Germantown MD Job Responsibilities Design, simulation, implementation and testing of satellite communications ground equipment with emphasis on the digitally implemented portions. System level design of satellite communications systems and integration of hardware and software to achieve desired performance Experience/Skills Required 10 + years experience with design, simulation and testing of communications equipment including satellite modems, digital filters, digital downconverters and timing recovery circuits. Skilled in the use of Matlab, Verilog or VHDL, and use of test equipment such as Logic analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Oscilloscopes. Knowledge of digital modulation and coding Education Requirements BA/BS Travel Required Up to 10 percent US citizenship required? Yes Clearance required? No
