Description Position Objective Works in fast paced biotech manufacturing setting on products that support cutting edge research. Your primary responsibility will be to improve yield, increase productivity, and reduce cost. You will also work closely with other members of the team to develop and integrate new processes and products into manufacturing. This position will be the focal point in leading process improvements and insuring that results are delivered and maintained. Qualified candidates will posses a high level of problem solving skill and experience. They will be familiar with Lean Six Sigma tools like SPC and DOE and experienced in applying these tools during process improvement efforts. · Experienced with laboratory automation like Tecan or Hamilton robots is desired. · Experienced with statistical software like Minitab, Statgraphics, or other is a plus. · Experienced with Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) or similar databases is a plus. Experience: Requires a minimum of BS in Engineering or Chemistry with 4-6 years post degree experience. Working Conditions: Works in a laboratory environment. Job may involve frequent work at a computer terminal.
