Description Our client in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 1 year contract position. Details are below: 1. Provide technical support within the Manufacturing Engineering department in support of new component product line. 2. Responsible for the development of the total manufacturing and/or quality plan of assigned components. 3. Utilizes assigned product engineers/specialists to meet planning, tooling and other requirements. 4. Involved with solving manufacturing and/or quality problems with effective root cause corrective actions on identified problems. 5. Leads cost reduction efforts in assigned areas utilizing appropriate personnel. Tracks progress and prepares required reports. 6. Actively work with design engineering to represent organization in establishing producible parts meeting customer and quality requirements at minimum cost. 7. Recommend and/or process design/process changes including cost, delivery, quality, and effect data. Insures change in design/process are properly implemented.

Requirements 1. College degree or equivalent technical experience in composite/metal bonding manufacturing environment.. 2. Strong communications and organization skills. 3. Recognized expertise of engine components, manufacturing, assembly, testing and quality methods, procedures, systems and requirements. 4. Ability to develop alternative approaches to solve complex problems. Analytical skills. Proficient in the adaptation of concepts, theories, and principles to problems.
