Description: Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Project Engineer for a 1 year plus contract position located in Westborough, MA.



Focus:

The person will be focused on projects related to production assets, so a background in pharma, related GMP environment, or clean rooms (as a minimum) is required.



Required Skills:

Degree / College Major: BS in Engineering or related discipline

Number of Years Work Experience Required: Must have at least 5 years experience in Manufacturing environment and Project Management

-Must have working knowledge of facilities and utilities: HVAC, chilled water systems, steam, electrical, clean room, etc.

-Experience with managing medium-sized projects or larger.

-Must have strong organizational skills, project management experience, technical skills, and facilities/utilities experience.

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (will use MS Project).

-Self-starter.

-Candidates with prior pharma experience will be given priority.

-Requires little to no travel.



Job Responsibilities:

Individual will be responsible for initiating, managing, and closing various capital projects related to site utilities and infrastructure upgrades. Looking for a Contract Project Manager.



The ideal person:

-Will have a working knowledge of facilities and utilities; will help with the shop floor assets

-Will have experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing; specifically in an aseptic environment

-Will have excellent communications skills

-Will be a self-starter

-Will be a team player



The Project Engineer will have strong project management skills that allow him to run a project from beginning to end. The Project Engineer will be responsible for:

-Defining the project/ scope

-Presentations (for financial support)

-Working with vendors, purchasing, RFPs

-Working with internal and external groups

-Executing the project

-Finishing the project

-Completing all necessary GMP documentation; training
