Skills: strong POWERBUILDER experence along with some ORACLE PL/SQL backend experience; Unix

Job description: NOTE: Work required will consists of 50% Powerbuilder and 50% backend development in Oracle-PL*SQL, SQL, and Unix.

Consultant will be responsible for full life cycle development on existing Client Servicer applications. All existing applications consist of a Powerbuilder interface, Oracle running in a UNIX environment and SQL. Duties will include working with clients to understand requirements and determine best solutions to meet those requirements. Consultant will work with other developers on design and implementation of various enhancements to our legacy applications. Candidate must have good oral and writing communication skills and enjoy application development. The existing applications have been around for over 10 years, and a number of enhancements will be required on top of these legacy applications. The appropriate candidate should be able to quickly review and understand the existing application and build on top of it.
