Job description: Sr. Java Developer
Responsibilities:
" Design and implement user interfaces with Java
" Provide technical expertise and lead junior developers
" Document Technical Specifications
" Automate UNIT testing
" Provide test support
" Provide metrics and project planning updates for the development effort
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
" 10 years of development experience - at least 5 years experience with UI development using Java. Some experience in Weblogic , Java , JSF MyFaces Implementation, JUnit, Facelets, iBatis.
" Experience in Oracle and programming with PL/SQL
" Demonstrated experience in above in a production environment.
" Strong knowledge and use of development, methodologies, standards and procedures
" Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks
" Ability to provide technical expertise to junior team members and consult with other application developers to tune and performance test new and existing code base
" Excellent written and verbal communications skills
" Excellent teaming and leadership skills
Nice-To-Have Skills:
" UNIX experience is beneficial
